The Dungeon Masters, known as the Dustcloaks, are the oldest company of explorers in Vildenlund. They chart ruins, recover what was lost, and answer when a town needs help its lord can't send. They hold no royal charter; the duchies hire them because they are known to be upright, not sellswords.

- **The Code:** preserve historical sites, respect the dead, share knowledge.
- **Ranks:** Initiate (levels 1–2, bronze clasp), Explorer (3–4, silver), Wayfinder (5–8, gold), Loremaster (platinum set with a gem), Master Explorer (Council of Masters).
- **Headquarters:** Ruinwatch Keep, in the Ruinshade district of Maneth.
